Here's some tips to choose the right hair color:

1. Get a stylist opinion and advise

The first thing you can do is save images on your phone of hair colors you liked on celebrities, or cut pictures out of magazines, and then make a consultation with your hairdresser. It is important to get a second opinion.

2. Check your skin tone

If the veins on the inside of your wrists appear blue, then you are cool-toned, and if they appear greenish, you are warm-toned. Another one is if you put a white T-shirt next to your face and you appear blue, you are cool; if you are yellow, you are warm.

If you’re blessed with warm, yellowish-brownish-goldenish undertones, you’ll want to keep your hair color warm as well to avoid looking tired or, even worse, corpse-like. If you’re, in the other hand, proud of your cool, pale or olive complexion, you’ll want to accent it by opting for colors that are shiny, ashy and free of all red or gold undertones.

3. Eye color

As asian, we have hazel or brown eyes, the colors that will suit you the most are the darker shades of brown, such as espresso brown, or chocolate.

Would you like to play safe or break the "rules"?
